This dream started with my friends and I going to Japan for a friend’s wedding. It wasn’t a traditional Japanese wedding at a shrine but one that was more of a destination wedding — taking place in a hotel. The location of this hotel is an hour out of Tokyo, where we stayed.

The wedding day arrived!

We had a bus charted for us, and some cars followed as convoy to take us there and back to Tokyo. Donald, a friend of mine, drove his car too.

The wedding was joyous, and we partied until we missed our bus ride! Donald and a few others were still around, so they offered to drive us back to Tokyo.

Jim and I were in Donald’s car, and the rest of the gang were in other cars.

Off we go! However, Donald refused to use Google Maps but instead wanted to rely on the road signs. Why? It’s because he thinks he’s so smart like he knows Japan and that it’s easy to navigate back to Tokyo. What an idiot…

Six left turns, two right turns and three U-turns later, we’re officially lost! Good job, Donald!

To make matters worse, we’ve trespassed a private area, and the police were there to stop us.

But Donald was like “Nooo, we’ll try to escape the police! Haha”. He tried to outrun the police but was eventually outmanoeuvred after two minutes. Duhhh

We were detained and were brought to the police station.

This is where it becomes weirder.

The police told us that the only way out of prison is to fight and kill zombies that are made of silicon. Erm…WHAT?

Just like in video games, we needed to hit the zombies certain damage for them to die. Thankfully, we were given weapons like axes and spears.

But, the zombies can kill us too!

So, we assigned two of our friends who are pros in role-playing games (RPG) to lead us in two groups. Yup, we trust other people with our lives because they are good at video games.

While all this was happening, Donald disappeared. We didn’t think too much about it because we were busy killing zombies.

We fought for some time, and thankfully, we all survived even though most of us sustained injuries.

Coming to the best part, guys. If you have read until here, keep continuing!

When we were done, all of us were supposed to meet back in the same room, but the majority of the gang went out for a cigarette break. Only Jim and I were left in the room, waiting.

Out of nowhere, Donald showed up! He was clean with no bloodstains or anything. Which meant he went to hide. How dare he?!

Ohh best part here, guys.

Suddenly, Jim started shouting at Donald.

“How could you leave us like that? You abandoned me to fight and die while you went into hiding!”

Jim then went up to Donald and started throwing punches.

However, he was no match for Donald. Donald is still more dominant (also because he didn’t fight the zombies; therefore, he had more energy), so Donald fought back and was doing some severe damage to Jim.

Meanwhile, I was standing there witnessing this. But I couldn’t take it any longer. I needed to help my friend, Jim.

With my help, Jim managed to mount on top of Donald and mercilessly pound Donald until his skull cracked and he died.

You should see Jim’s face. He was so relieved.

By this time, the rest of the gang came back into the room, and the police said we are free to go.

…then, I woke up, and my dream ended.

Have you dreamt of something similar before?
